Tokyo, Japan. Scotty Cameron announced today the release of the limited edition Xperimental GOLO 6.2 LTD putter.

The GOLO is a compact mallet-type putter that features a chromatic bronze finish head and plumbing neck inspired by popular/ winning models on global tours. 

The precision-machined 303 stainless steel head features a new face milling pattern with a chain link structure and this new model also features a dedicated full-contact grip.

The Xperimental GOLO 6.2 LTD putter features the Super Select GOLO 6 head shape with high stability and high moment of inertia, an I-beam plumbing neck and a black anodized 6061 aluminum sole plate

Where to get in Japan

The official release date is October 4th, and with limited numbers being available, it is expected to sell out fast!

In Japan, the GOLO will be available at the select Titleist store at Fujisawa Jumbo. The retail price in Japan will be approx 132,000 yen (including tax).

In 2020, the US Golf Association (USGA) and the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews (R&A) made several changes to the rules of golf.

One major change was to the "drop procedure" when a ball is lost or out of bounds. Players are now allowed to drop the ball from shoulder height, rather than knee height, making the process more consistent and less prone to mistakes. Another change was to the rule regarding penalty strokes. Players will no longer be penalized for accidentally moving a ball on the green, such as when marking or lifting it.
