Titleist has officially announced the launch of its new GTS driver lineup in Japan, with the new models set for release on June 11, 2026. Early sales through the official online store begin May 15.

The new GTS series builds on the performance of what Titleist describes as the most-played driver on the PGA TOUR, with a focus on increasing ball speed, stability, and overall confidence off the tee. The lineup includes three tour-validated models — GTS2, GTS3, and GTS4 — each offering distinct performance characteristics alongside expanded fitting adjustability.

A New Era of Total Performance

According to Titleist, the philosophy behind the GTS project centers on “total performance,” with the goal of improving speed, forgiveness, spin consistency, adjustability, sound, and feel without compromise.

“Driver design is not about maximizing just one area of performance,” said Stephanie Luttrell, Senior Director of Metalwood R&D at Titleist. “Ball speed, forgiveness, spin consistency, adjustability, sound, and feel all directly impact golfer performance. Our mission is to improve total performance without sacrificing any of those elements. GTS represents that ideal.”

New Technology Behind the GTS Drivers

Split Mass Frame & Thermoform Body

At the heart of the new lineup is the Split Mass Frame construction combined with a full Thermoform body made from Titleist’s proprietary matrix polymer material.

The design allows significant weight savings while maintaining the sound and feel preferred by better players. Compared to the previous generation, the amount of Thermoform material has doubled, increasing from 13g to 26g while accounting for around 60% of the body surface area at only 13% of the total mass.

That freed-up weight is redistributed low-forward and deep-back within the head to optimize launch conditions while also increasing stability and MOI.

Speed Sync Face

The new Speed Sync Face technology is designed to improve ball speed consistency across the face while maintaining stable spin performance.

A reinforced perimeter structure increases flex and COR efficiency, especially on center strikes, while the redesigned upper face area improves performance on high-face impacts. Variable face thickness technology further enhances speed retention across the hitting area.

Dual Weight System

Each GTS model also introduces a new Dual Weight System for expanded shot and launch customization.

The GTS2 features front and rear flat weights (standard setup: 11g front / 5g rear), while the GTS3 and GTS4 combine a forward track weight (8g) with a rear flat weight (5g).

By repositioning weight farther back, golfers can increase launch and spin characteristics, while custom fitting allows additional weight configurations beyond the standard setup.

Improved Aerodynamics

The GTS drivers feature refined aerodynamic shaping designed to reduce drag and improve clubhead speed.

The GTS2 and GTS3 both feature a raised tail section that improves airflow transition from crown to sole. While highly aerodynamic heads can sometimes compromise ideal CG positioning, Titleist says the Split Mass Frame allows both aerodynamic efficiency and optimized weighting to work together.

High Contrast Face Graphics

A new high-contrast face alignment design highlights the center of the face, helping golfers position the ball more precisely at address and improve visual confidence.

GTS Driver Lineup

GTS2 Driver

Maximum speed with stable launch performance

Designed for golfers seeking high forgiveness and consistent speed across the face, the GTS2 features a confidence-inspiring 460cc shape with high launch and mid-spin characteristics.

Available Lofts: 8.0°, 9.0°, 10.0°, 11.0° (all available in left-handed models)

GTS3 Driver

Advanced speed and shot control

The GTS3 is built for players looking for greater trajectory and spin control. Compared to the GTS2, it offers a more compact profile with a deeper face and lower launch/spin characteristics.

Available Lofts: 8.0°, 9.0°, 10.0°, 11.0° (all available in left-handed models)

GTS4 Driver

Low-spin speed designed for maximum distance

The lowest-spinning model in the lineup, the GTS4 is aimed at golfers seeking maximum distance potential. Based on tour feedback, the head size has been increased to 460cc, improving forgiveness compared to previous “4” models.

Available Lofts: 8.0°, 9.0°, 10.0° (all available in left-handed models)
