Oosthuizen, Stanley share lead at Players Championship

Louis Oosthuizen shot a bogey-free 66 Friday to grab a share of the lead after the second round of The Players Championship. The South African reached the hafway stage at nine-under 135 to tie Kyle Stanley (66) for the lead at the TPC Sawgrass in Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida. American J.B. Holmes is alone in third, two hots behind, after shooting a three-under 69. Veteran Vijay Singh from Fiji is by himself in fourth after shooting a 69 to reach six-under 138. David Hearn of Canada (69), Rafa Cabrera Bello of Spain (70), Patrick Cantlay (70), Ian Poulter of England and Alex Noren of Sweden (71) are tied for fifth at 139.

Defending champion Jason Day (72) is at 142 along with Phil Mickelson (70), Adam Scott (72), Henrik Stenson (70) and first-round co-leaders William McGirt (75) and Mackenzie Hughes (75).
