Junior Golf in Tokyo At Jingu Gaien

If you are new to Tokyo or are wondering what is the best way to introduce your child to golf here in the bustling metropolis, then look no further.

Samadhi Golf School based at Jingu Gaien Practice Range near Gaienmae was set up in 2014 and has gone from strength to strength with the local international community, and is the only group lesson for kids in English (that we know about) in Tokyo. The location is part of the baseball stadium complex which has been converted into a multi level driving range, it features an automatic ball feed system, pro shop, cafe, Mizuno fitting studio and rental clubs are available for juniors and seniors.

All junior lessons are with teacher Brian Joseph and are after school on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesdays.

Students will learn the following skills in a safe and fun environment:

 Golf fundamentals
 Full swing
 Chipping
 Etiquette

About the teacher:

Brian Joseph PGA, has been playing since he was four years old, turning professional at 19. He has been teaching kids and adults for the last 20 years (14 of which in Japan) and firmly believes in the ethos: 'To help juniors learn to play better golf and develop a lifetime love for the game in a safe and fun environment'.

Program Details

Location: Samadhi Junior Golf Program Jingu Gaien East Practice Range

Sessions: Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays

16:00 – 16:50 (Ages 4-6) 
17:00 – 17:50 (Ages 7-10)
18:00 – 18:50 (Ages 11-15)

Program Fee:

Choose one of the sessions noted above. Students will have six weeks to take four lessons.

¥15,600 for 4 x 50 minute group lessons.

Fee includes the hitting bay and balls (Tax is not included).
