The 16th Mercedes-Benz - Cole Haan Cup!

The 2018 Cup will be played on Friday, 5th of October at the same venue as before, Atsugi Kokusai C.C. in Kanagawa prefecture. NEW this year is that we play all of the West course as the East Out course we played last year is under reconstruction.

Event History

The idea of a Europe-U.S. annual golf event was first raised in 2001 in discussions between Mr. Robert Grondine (former ACCJ President and Governor who sadly passed away in 2011), Mr. Richard Collasse (then EBC Chairman) and Mr. Erik Ullner (then EBC Vice-Chairman). The concept was to have an annual high-profile "Ryder Cup in Japan" to foster closer relations between US and European business leaders and companies in Japan.

Charity

The organizing task-force has continued to work closely with the club to reduce costs, so all surplus from the event, including most of the cash sponsorship, will be donated to charity along with the presently established charity fundraising activities.

After-Party

Also this year we will have an After-Party, free for all participants and their significant other, on Thursday, 11 October (19:00 - 21:30). at Mercedes-Benz Connection in Nogizaka (opposite Tokyo Midtown).
